The white shirt edit

Fashion, Outfits

Pretty much everyone owns a simple white button down. I personally absolutely love mine for it’s simplicity and its versatility. For this outfit I decided to put together a casual chic outfit for you, and paired my white shirt with a pair of distressed skinnies and my slip on loafers. Keeping things simple I added a small cross body bag and a delicate necklace.

Wearing your shirt off one or off both shoulders is definitely trending right now and adds something slightly edgy and interesting to an otherwise simple outfit. Stiffer cotton shirts are best if you’re thinking  of trying your hand at this trend.

The distressed skinnies kept things on the more casual side, while the white button down and loafers gave the outfit a more chic vibe. The leather jacket added a touch of edginess to the outfit. Finishing touches are the fishnets tights (can’t stop adding them under jeans ever since I got on this trend bandwagon).

Gingham shirt

Fashion, Outfits

It’s no secret that gingham is an integral print this spring season. And with pretty much any item you can think of sporting the print there’s definitely something for everyone. Personally, while I’m not a huge fan of prints (give me monochrome anyday) I can definitely get behind gingham and will be wearing it this season.

For this particular outfit I chose a gingham blouse with a choker detail and a deep neckline from Zara. (extra happy because I purchased it for 50% off).

This particular piece manages to incorporate two trends at once, being gingham (which is possibly one of the biggest spring 2017 trends) as well as sporting some stunning statement sleeves.

Because the blouse is definitely a statement piece I kept everything else muted making it the key piece of my outfit. With this in mind I paired it with a pair of distressed black skinnies, slip on loafers and a black crossbody bag. I also added my faux leather jacket. For a finishing touch I wore a delicate gold necklace, which in my opinion tied everything together nicely.

Stripped joggers and white kicks.

Fashion, Outfits

Hello! While the weather can’t seem to make up it’s mind, I’m looking forward to spring. With that in mind I put together this transitional outfit, featuring a new purchase: my stripped joggers from Bershka.

Tailored joggers seem to be trending this season, and I couldn’t be happier since they are a comfortable and extremely versatile piece.

The joggers I wore had a very subtle stripped print, so I kept things monochrome as far as my top was concerned and paired them with a high neck white crop top with 3/4 sleeves. I added my long grey coatigan layered over my favourite faux leather jacket for an extra layer of warmth since the day was pretty chilly. To finish of my outfit and keep things casual I added my favourite white sneakers and a fluffy backpack.
